The warehouse assistant is responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The
ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting goals, and experienced in digital
organization. This position will work closely with our project management teams and clients to ensure on
time delivery of parts to job site locations, while keeping our warehouse inventory up-to-date and
organized. Pay rate is dependent on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
● Learn inventory and pull sheets to successfully fill event orders.
● Prepares props and furniture for events to include but not limited to: wrapping fabric
and vinyl, drilling holes, nailing, hammering, hand and spray painting, polishing,
cleaning and staining.
● Wraps furniture and props for delivery; unwraps inventory as needed.
● Cleans and sweeps work space to ensure the workspace is organized, safe and
free from obstacles and debris.
● Tracks and enters time and assigns hours and tasks to appropriate events and jobs
in the time and attendance system.
● Completes all Human Resources and Payroll tasks and notifications through the
Employee Self Service Online Portal on a weekly basis, as directed and within
established timelines.
● Complies with all department and company safety guidelines, procedures, and
rules.
● Completes all safety training as directed and within established timelines.QUALIFICATIONS:
● Ability to understand, read and speak elementary English.
● Good verbal communication skills to communicate successfully with the Warehouse
team.
● Ability to interpret client orders.
● Familiarity with proper packing methods.
● Good knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment that may include: hammer,
screwdriver, hand drill, tape measure, dollies, and 8 foot and 12 foot ladders.
● Ability to work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends.
● Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
● Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
● Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
