Robert T. Chin's 33+ year career in the alcohol beverage industry comes with a resume where he's had leadership roles across both wine and spirits.  

Robert currently leads his own alcohol beverage consulting practice where he's created a niche working with entertainment properties and celebrities. 

Prior to this, he was employee #1 as President/CEO of Aquilini Brands USA where he led the business to the #1 volume growth Washington wine portfolio in 2021 (of 1,050 wineries).  During his tenure, the team won several awards including 2021 best luxury wine package, and having every brand score 90+ points including a rare 100-point score for its flavored whiskey.

Robert has consistently held senior roles and gained most of his experience while at GALLO. He led Spirits brand marketing, drove the turnaround of E&J Brandy and was the marketing lead for the New Amsterdam franchise.  He was later instrumental in building the company’s digital practice, shopper marketing organization, and what is now one of the nation’s leading spirits portfolios. 

Robert was born in Guyana, went to school in Canada where he received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) and an MBA from Dalhousie University (Halifax, Canada).  He currently resides in Frisco, Tx after having spent most of his adult life in California.  A fun fact about Robert is he played table tennis for Canada internationally during his youth, won several national titles, and his success enabled him to self-fund his university education.”
