As the Revenue Strategy Intern, you will analyze and support the revenue management and distribution aspects for each hotel and the Revenue Strategy's department's KPIs.

Your daily duties would include data transformations, data analysis, anomaly detection, and developing repeatable methods to ensure data integrity and presentation of insights via data visualizations. You will collaborate closely with all departments to help hotels maximize their KPI's.

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER :

  • Update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports.
  • Monitor Parity Reports and Fix any Parity Issues that may be occurring.
  • Audit CRS system for room types, fees, taxes, etc.
  • Develop new reports, as needed, to assist in preparation for the revenue management meetings or data analysis.
  • Create new reports as needed in PowerBi.
  • Assist in the collection and harmonization of data for Analytics.
  • Maintain historical statistical data from all distribution channels.
  • Analyze and present accurate picture of trends, demand and market conditions. (RO calls and Owner Decks).
  • Support ADRS' in weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze the competition rates daily and weekly to identify selling strategies and market trends. Alert ADRS to emerging trends. AP rate changes, AAA, AARP, GOV, etc.
  • Assist in various projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Progressing towards a four year college degree
  • Ability to evaluate business trends and communicate recommendations
  • Some knowledge of Digital Marketing
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office fluency to include Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Compiles facts/figures, identify and investigate issues, and resolve matters in a timely fashion
  • Ability to operate a computer, calculator, phone, and other office equipment
  • Attention to details with strong organizational and efficient time management skills
  • Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient
  • Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction
