As a Production Intern you will assist your team in developing, sourcing, and executing all of Kohl's private and exclusive label brands - the ones that are ONLY available at Kohl's (LC Lauren Conrad, Nine West, Sonoma, etc.)  

Help your office with aspects of the concept to customer process: production, sample management.

Assist with daily activities: quality reviews, vendor emails, meeting set-up, product reviews and PO management.

Shadow and learn from all levels of your team, especially the product development coordinator.

Develop business skills such as collaboration, communication, business analytics and increase product specific knowledge.

Communicate and upkeep of weekly recap info with overseas (tracking color submits, sample status, WIP tracking).

Support updates in our style management system (One PLM).

Create and maintain reference libraries for teams (marketing, fabric, etc).

Provide production input to submit meetings, to ensure on time delivery.

Learn how to influence & manage relationships with vendors, merchants, planning, sourcing, design, tech design, etc.

Learn costing concepts and components that drive product cost.

Undergraduate Junior

Strong written/verbal communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office & Google
