The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality was founded in 1989 at Cornell University with the purpose of ensuring minority success in the hospitality industry. At the University of North Texas Chapter, we work to encourage academic success, to empower our members to be successful in the industry through professional development, and to ensure that our members have networking opportunities with hospitality professionals who offer valuable work experience, internships, and job shadowing.
