We offer internships in Design, Global Merchandising, Marketing, Global Sourcing, Logistics, IT, Finance, Strategic Partnerships, Inventory Management, Legal, Responsible Sourcing, Store Operations. The Children’s Place was founded in Hartford, Connecticut in 1969 by David Pulver and Clinton Clark.

In 2019, The Children’s Place purchased the rights to the Gymboree brand and in early 2020, launched product in select stores and online. In late 2021, the Sugar & Jade brand was launched featuring collections tailored to celebrate tween girls’ individuality. In late 2022, the PJ Place brand was launched as a one-stop pajama destination for all ages, including adults. Together, our four brands support growing families across every demographic with apparel that builds confidence and promotes inclusivity!

Responsibilities:

• 10 Week paid internship program
• Hands on experience learning TCP's systems and processes
• Learning and Development training sessions; Excel, DEI, Interview and resume skills, In store experience
• Meet and greets with our Senior Leadership team & Q&A sessions
• Participation in community service and Philanthropic partnerships

Requirements:

• Available to work full-time, 36 hours per week for 10 uninterrupted weeks in the summer (June 4, 2024 to August 9, 2024)
• Must be a rising Senior at start time of internship program
• Student must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship current or future
• Passion for the Retail industry!

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Is a team player and can also work independently
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Highly proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) with the ability to quickly learn technical applications and processes
