Are you naturally curious and a creative problem solver? As a Marketing Strategy Intern, you'll join one of several teams that collaborate to develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve our goals of driving traffic and sales. Our strategy teams bring their respective expertise together to ensure our customer feels heard and recognized in every interaction with the Kohl's brand.
Our collective work allows us to answer a series of critical questions to drive the business: Who is our target audience? How do we gain new customers while growing and retaining existing customers? What do we talk about as a brand and when do we communicate to our customers? How do we improve the relevance and productivity of every customer touchpoint?
Marketing strategy teams include:
Consumer Insights, Loyalty Strategy, Media Strategy, Personalization, Promotional Strategy, Category & Brand Marketing, Marketing Activation, Marketing Operations, and Internal Communicationsnterpret and synthesize data and insights to contribute to projects that drive traffic to our stores and website
Develop and recommend data-driven strategies to marketing decision makers
Activate new marketing tactics and/or processes (leave your mark with "real" work experience!)
Contribute to the creation and execution of cross-channel brand, digital, and event marketing plansCurious and willing to ask questions
Strong written and verbal communication skills (we want to hear your thoughts!)
Creative problem solverYou major is something like marketing, retail/consumer behavior, communications, public relations, advertising.
