design firms in Texas. Although based in Dallas, Texas, our team travels coast to coast as well as
internationally.
Job description
The Floral Design division of RAOFACTOR is seeking an experienced Floral Designer and passionate creative
to assist the floral manager and design team in daily floral production and on site installation for events.This
position is full time hours (30+ weekly). Schedule varies weekly depending on the current event schedule. A
typical week would be Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 am-4:00 pm with exception of Event install hours, or changes to
the schedule based on production needs. This is a highly creative role and requires an individual with a growing
passion for floral & event design. This position has great growth opportunity and room for expansion within the
company, we would ideally like to bring in an individual who is dedicated to being a long term asset to
RAOFACTOR. Pay rate is dependent on experience.

Duties and responsibilities include:
● Work closely with the Floral Manager, Amanda, on designs and details for upcoming events floral
execution.
● Lead floral assistants throughout daily production and on site during event installs.
● Ensure florals are properly processed, stored, and maintained throughout the week to ensure
optimal freshness of product.
● Create custom curated floral designs in a variety of styles & aesthetics to cater to our diverse
clientele.
● Maintain inventory of Floral supplies, tools & mechanics and report to floral manager for
re-stocking of materials.
● Maintaining a curated aesthetic throughout the department and working closely with the floral
manager to critique and perfect floral designs both during production, and on site at events.
● Attend Event installs to oversee a correctly executed vision as related to the event proposal/
sketches/mood board.
● Able to work independently, and is a self-starter, but is also a team player.

Effectively lead floral team & event staff with event setups & occasional teardowns. Make quick
decisions to provide solutions for any unexpected hurdles during event setups.
● Assist in setting up and possibly teaching our “Flower Power Hour” floral arrangement class with
the floral manager.

Desired Skills and Experience
● 2+ years of experience in floral design- must provide examples of your work & build an
arrangement during the interview process.
● High School Diploma or GED
● Current Driver’s License
● Impeccable taste and design sense; highly creative with a drive for continuing education in the
floral & event industry.
● Extensive Floral variety knowledge
● Strong knowledge of floral mechanics
● Extreme attention to detail
● Ability to delegate, oversee subordinates and mentor staff alongside the floral manager
● Quick decision making & problem solving skills
● Flexible with scheduling specifically for event installation days
● Able to lift 50+ lbs.
