Our 10-week paid Internship program is designed to attract and develop future leaders. As an Innovation Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with core responsibilities supporting a new start-up marketplace business model (MakerPlace). You will gain exposure to all areas of the MakerPlace business including Product Management, UAT, Content Management, Merchandising, Go-to-Market Strategy, Analytics, Operations, and Customer Service.

Major Activities
Identify selection trends and conduct comp assessment to understand areas of opportunity and growth.
Exposure to visual merchandising and content management through internal tools. Partner with the content team to identify trends and select product and storefront features.
Deep dive the customer experience (CX) and identify opportunities in support of the product roadmap.
Support site search and CX optimization with recommendations to increase CVR and seller acquisition.
Support UAT to enable the launch of new features from the product roadmap.
Work closely with the UI/UX teams to define user journeys and CX flows for enhanced features.
Collaborate with Program Management to support project efforts in support of the broader inflight program initiatives (Seller Academy, Featured Maker, etc.)
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or Software Engineering

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applications

Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
GPA of 3.0 or above
College Juniors and above
One year of experience working in a retail environment is preferred. Retail operations experience in the specific functional area is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and have a strong interest in eCommerce and digital innovation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Preferred Education
Enrolled in a master's program in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Special Certifications or Technical Skills
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficiency in business tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Figma, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
Basic knowledge of direct-to-consumer retail (DTC), CX, and digital marketplaces
