Petmate/Doskocil Mfg., Inc was founded in 1960 as an innovative manufacturer and supplier of crates and kennels used by the airline industry to transport pets. The internship program will be a paid, 10-week program beginning June 3, 2024, through August 9th, 2024. Our interns can expect to work 40 hrs./wk. during the 10-week period. Must provide own housing arrangements in the DFW area and able to commute daily to Arlington, TX. To gain the best experience and build relationships with the team, this role will be onsite 5 days a week.

SCOPE

Our rotational program allows students to gain exposure and understanding in a variety of careers within the manufacturing and distribution industry. Interns in this program will rotate between the following functional areas:

  • B2B/D2C eCommerce team
  • Marketing Insights team
  • Product Marketing Team
  • Omnichannel eCommerce Team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for this role will be a rising junior level undergraduate in good academic standing in an accredited marketing, business, or communications degree program.


SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
  • Able to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others.
  • Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software.
  • Able to type data and use a PC for long periods of time.
