In this 10 Week specialized program you will be exposed to Business Analytics/Data Science Functions. You will assist the Data Analysis team & Demand Forecasting team and be exposed to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses. 

Data Analytics Intern Duties and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clean data from various sources.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Support the creation of data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.

- Assist in statistical analysis and predictive demand forecasting

- Help in generating actionable insights to drive business decisions.

- Document and present analysis results to team members. 

- Get familiar with reporting & analytics tools: ThoughtSpot/Power BI

- Research on industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics.

 Requirements

 - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

- 3.0 GPA or higher 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings in a clear manner.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have

- Familiarity in data manipulation tools, like Python, R; 

- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

 Project

Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor who will provide coaching & support. In your final week, the project will be presented to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to develop a solution that can create positive change.
