Bria Whitaker

Bria Whitaker is an adjunct instructor in the College of Merchandising, Hospitality & Tourism at the University of North Texas and a proud alumna of the program. She earned her B.S. in Merchandising while at UNT and has since built a career as a fashion entrepreneur, consultant, and founder of Foreign Closet, a unisex leather goods and apparel brand. With experience spanning merchandising, buying, e-Commerce, styling, product development, and entrepreneurship, Whitaker brings both industry expertise and real-world application into the classroom. Passionate about innovation, storytelling, and mentoring the next generation of creatives, she leverages her background in fashion, business, technology, and community engagement to prepare students for success in a dynamic, global marketplace.
