Reflecting on her time with DCP, Emily described it as life changing. "The most exciting part was meeting people from all around the world. I doubt I’d have found another opportunity to work alongside students from countries like Chile, Japan, and France. Despite our cultural differences, we bonded over our shared love for Disney's culture," she said.
Dr. Kim Williams, department chair of the Hospitality, Event and Tourism Management
and advocate for the DCP, commended Emily’s outstanding contributions. “Emily is a
phenomenal ambassador for the DCP and CMHT. Within just two days of becoming a campus
rep, she joined DCP leaders during their UNT visit and provided thoughtful and professional
testimonials on her experience. She has an incredible ability to inspire others and
confidently advocate for herself,” Dr. Williams shared.
Emily’s time with the DCP has not only shaped her personal and academic growth but
also fueled her ambition to return to Disney in a managerial role. She continues to
inspire UNT students through her on-campus advocacy and a dedicated Instagram account,
@disneyatunt, where she shares application details, insights, and program updates.
“I hope to inspire my fellow students to begin their Disney journey,” Emily said. Her leadership, coupled with her passion for Disney and UNT, ensures that she is leaving a lasting legacy for future students to follow.
