Malini Ratnam teaches undergraduate courses in Digital Merchandising – Introduction to Digital Retailing, Digital Retailing Strategies and Digital Channels. She has been a digital marketer for over 17 years in the retail and travel industry – with experience working in the US, Europe and Asia at Kohl’s, JCPenney, Aviva, Global Blue, where she led global digital marketing and social media strategy, innovation, ecommerce and loyalty programs, while keeping the customer front and center. She has also been an entrepreneur with her own digital strategy consulting business helping small and mid-sized businesses grow their digital presence. Digital marketing is both a hobby and a profession for her. She has an MS in Life Sciences from the University of Hyderabad in India and an MS in Advertising from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
