Advising Availability for Spring 2026:

The CMHT Advising Office offers in-person appointments and a limited number of virtual appointments via Zoom.

  • Current UNT students should schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor through Navigate.
  • Future students should call our office at 940-565-4635 to schedule a prospective student appointment or explore other options.
  • Newly admitted students will be advised at their required New Student Orientation.

Drop-In Advising for Spring 2026 and Sum/Fall 2026 Registration

What: Drop-in advising is for current CMHT students who encounter enrollment issues when trying to register for classes or those who just need to ask an advisor a quick question. For more in-depth degree planning, please schedule a regular advising appointment through Navigate.

When: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the following days:

  • Monday – Friday, January 12-16 (First week of Spring 2026)
  • Thursday, March 19 (Senior Registration)
  • Thursday, March 26 (Junior Registration)
  • Thursday, April 2 (Sophomore Registration)
  • Thursday, April 9 (Freshman Registration)

If you have a general question about academics, scheduling, equivalencies, or need to be connected with campus resources, you can email your advisor. For more specific questions, your advisor may ask that you schedule an appointment to have your concern adequately addressed.
I'm a student taking all of my classes at the Frisco campus or online. How can I meet with an advisor?

While we don't currently offer in-person advising at the Frisco campus, we are more than happy to meet with you virtually via Zoom. You can schedule an online appointment through your Navigate account.
