The STEM-designated Master of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Data Analytics combines advanced analytics with hospitality and tourism management. Develop skills in data mining, predictive modeling, business analytics, and customer relationship management analytics to understand customers, improve business performance, and guide strategic decisions across hospitality, tourism, and travel organizations.

Funding Your MS in Hospitality & Tourism Data Analytics

Students in the Hospitality & Tourism Data Analytics program are encouraged to apply for a variety of competitive scholarships and graduate employment opportunities.

Scholarships

The School of Merchandising & Hospitality Management Scholarships provide financial support to qualified graduate students. Scholarship applications are typically due annually on February 1.

A scholarship award of at least $1,000 may qualify eligible non-resident students for a Texas tuition waiver, significantly reducing educational costs.

Teaching and Research Positions

Graduate students may apply for teaching, research, and hourly student assistant positions within the department.

These positions provide valuable professional experience while helping offset educational expenses. Students awarded a qualifying 20-hour-per-week assistantship may also be eligible for a non-resident tuition waiver.
