These are very exciting times for UNT and the College of Merchandising, Hospitality, and Tourism (CMHT).  We are a college centered on the world’s largest consumer-focused industries. Everything we do in our college is relevant to preparing students to be leaders in careers that focus on the customer experience—the human experience.

An education from our college blends opportunities for students to work with world-class research faculty as well as top industry professionals who now find teaching as their new passion. Our faculty are committed to ensure that students become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and creative innovators. Graduates from our college have established successful careers throughout the world. Their jobs, their titles, and their career paths are each distinct, but the common thread that makes a CMHT alum special is their preparedness to create memorable customer experiences in their chosen careers.

We are indebted to our alumni, industry partners, and friends who provide opportunities for our students through field trips, internships, and guest lectures. These constituents play an important role in strengthening our ability to provide extraordinary experiences for our students.

The Academic Advising team in CMHT is the best!  You will meet your advisor and work with them throughout your academic career. They are supportive professionals that will empow
