Studio 11 Design is an award-winning WBENC certified full-service interior design firm focused on producing innovative and effective design solutions for the hospitality and leisure industries. From property touchups to full-scale renovations and new construction, our in-house teams support the designers to bring a client’s vision to life through branding, art, and more. We are growing fast and looking to take on the best talent in the industry. We're looking for a professional, energetic, and detail-oriented Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team for the 2024 Summer Semester⁠. This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to gain exposure to marketing in hospitality design. While not a requirement, prior experience in social media management and/or the design industry is a preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities⁠

• Assist with development of marketing materials as needed⁠
• Work in Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Powerpoint to update and create marketing materials such as Lookbooks, social media content, presentations, newsletters, etc.
• Engage on Social Media accounts daily
• - Posting
• - Commenting
• - Liking
• - Following
• Create and construct content for internal accounts, including imagery and captions.
• Take photos and videos in real-time on or off-site to create content for social media accounts.
• Build monthly content calendars for review for internal accounts.
• Be available and prepared to post when something is scheduled (even if it is outside of business hours).
• Assist in brainstorming sessions for marketing initiatives.
• Attend marketing related meetings to take notes and create meeting wrap-ups.
• Stay organized and on top of schedule and responsibilities. This includes following up with whomever is required regarding questions, posts, approval, information, and so on.
• When necessary, update the website via WordPress.

Qualifications⁠

• Excellent eye for design and layout for collaterals⁠
• Passion for all things social media
• Proactive, hardworking and reliable⁠
• Ability to learn programs and processes quickly⁠
• Experience with social media outlets including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest⁠
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint⁠
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign⁠
• Proficient in Canva
• Experience with website creation is a plus with knowledge of Squarespace and WordPress⁠
• Photography and videography skills is a plus⁠
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills⁠
• Ability to work independently⁠
• Efficient, highly organized and detail-oriented⁠
• Currently enrolled in or graduated from an accredited university majoring in Marketing, Communications or relevant majors⁠
