You can pick up a graduation application packet at the CMHT Advising Office in Chilton 385. Complete the enclosed forms and return the packet to our office. When you turn it in, you will be asked to complete a short survey. You do NOT need to include a transcript or audit with your application.

Where do I pick up a graduation application?
Where is the advising office?
We are located in Chilton Hall, in room 385.
Can I make an appointment with my advisor?
Yes, you must schedule an appointment whenever you want to meet with your advisor. You can either call the CMHT advising office at 940-565-4635, or stop by Chilton 385. You may schedule up to two weeks in advance. Your advisor's availability will vary and becomes particularly erratic around registration.
What are the GPA requirements for CMHT?
- GPA requirements for the BS in Hospitality Management degree:
- A minimum of 2.35 grade point average in the professional field, with minimum grades of C required in all SMHM, MDSE, HFMD, DRTL and HMGT courses;
- A minimum of 2.35 grade point average in all courses completed at UNT; and
- A minimum of 2.35 grade point average in all work attempted, including transfer, correspondence, extension and residence work.
- GPA requirements for the BS in Merchandising, BS in Home Furnishings Merchandising, and BS in Digital Retialing degrees:
- A minimum of 2.25 grade point average in the professional field, with minimum grades of C required in all SMHM, MDSE, HFMD, DRTL and HMGT courses;
- A minimum of 2.25 grade point average in all courses completed at UNT; and
- A minimum of 2.25 grade point average in all work attempted, including transfer, correspondence, extension and residence work.

Not necessarily. If you have a question about academics, scheduling, equivalencies, or need to be connected with on-campus resources, you can email or call your advisor with your question. Advisors generally respond to emails quickly.
For more involved questions, your advisor may ask that you set an appointment to have your concern adequately addressed.
