Purpose Of Job

The Marketing Intern will support and maintain the Interstate Batteries product catalog. You will be integral to helping keep our catalog data up-to-date. Your role will support all customer requests to create and maintain part and application data both in Catalog and Electronic formats. This role will report to the Catalog Manager.

Responsibilities And Duties
 

  • Research and develop new part applications across Light Duty, Medium/Heavy Duty, Farm & Industrial, Motorcycle, Powersports and Marine categories.
  • Maintain electronic catalog database to deliver market relevant, accurate and consistent information.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure correct fitment information.
  • Troubleshoot application discrepancies by modifying existing content.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to integrate PIES and Digital Asset content into catalog database.
  • Communicate with internal and external customer to ensure that catalog/data work meets expectations.
  • Maintain competitive cross reference interchanges
  • Submit timely catalog updates
     

Qualifications
 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or computer science or equivalent relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Eager to learn
  • Minimum GPA or 3.0 required
  • Must have lodging in the DFW area for the duration of June 3rd – August 9th
