The College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism (CMHT) offers five bachelor of science degree programs and five master of science degree programs . The mission of the College is to transform learning, research, and engagement, with industry-relevant coursework delivered by expert faculty that employs a focus on creative thinking and globally-oriented problem solving.
Hospitality, Event and Tourism Management
The Hospitality, Event and Tourism Management is the first ever, ACPHA-accredited
program in the nation. It builds professional leaders and innovators in the global
hospitality and tourism industries through hands-on, intensive courses, research and
service opportunities.
Merchandising and Digital Retailing
The Department of Merchandising & Digital Retailing is home to the largest Merchandising
program in the nation, the only Digital Retailing B.S. and, as of February 2018, the
first consumer experience management degree. It develops talents for careers in the
trend-driven, global retail marketplace.
The Club at Gateway Center
The restaurant is a showcase training laboratory for students enrolled in two restaurant operations courses.
