The Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF), Wendy's International, and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation awarded the annual Reaching for Your Dreams Award in March 2009 to four outstanding UNT hospitality management students. Keitha Farrow, Kelley Krost, Melissa Portocarrero, and Hannah Snowden each received a $2,500 scholarship and the opportunity to attend the WFF Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine. The Reaching for Your Dreams award is presented to female students who demonstrate high academic achievement and are actively involved in the industry.
