Gracie Vega currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Gaylord Texan Resort. In her role, Gracie provides leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resources functions.  

Gracie joined the resort in 2003, serving on the pre-opening team that hired and trained over 2,000 new STARS. She was promoted to her current role in 2005 due to her strong commitment for heart-centered leadership and genuine care for her STARS. In 2011, Gracie was recognized as Minority Business Leader of the Year by the Dallas Business Journal and in 2016 received Human Resources Award of Excellence for the Western Region.  Gracie was later asked to lead the Gaylord Brand Human Resources Business Council and strategically worked to gain alignment across the hotels. 
Gracie is also extremely passionate about Diversity and inclusion solutions that cultivate respect, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Through these efforts earned the hotel global recognition with the Marriott Diversity Excellence Award.

In addition to leading Human Resources at Gaylord Texan, Gracie provides support and leadership to a variety of organizations in the industry and local community by taking on roles including Chair of the Workforce Development Board for Tarrant County, Vice Chair for UNT advance Board -University of North Texas College of Merchandising, Hospitality & Tourism, Hotel Association of Tarrant County Board Member & Board member for Hospitality Educators Association of Texas.
