Digital retailing program receives gift from
August 16, 2010, the digital division of the National Retail Federation, recently endowed the Ray M. Greenly Scholarship to the merchandising program.  As the first university partner for, this endowment will support two scholarships per academic year to qualified students majoring in digital retailing. is a member-driven trade association that provides a forum for retail executives to share information, new perspectives, and intelligence about online and multichannel retailing. 


"We are proud to support the future of retailing by offering this scholarship," says Rich Last, chairman of the board of and a member of UNT's merchandising board. During a fall retreat, Last joined faculty and other board members engaged in online retailing to design a new curricular model for the school's digital retailing program integrating the exciting worlds of new media, social networks, and mobile technologies.
