Tuesday Morning offers career opportunities, customer value, and hidden treasures
December 16, 2009

As an associate buyer for Tuesday Morning, UNT graduate Stephanie Dean ('05, Merchandising) knows what it takes to get the right merchandise, at the right time, at the right place and at the right price.  A formula that has proven successful for the Dallas-based retailer, founded on the unique philosophy of selling first-quality, designer and name-brand merchandise at extraordinarily discounted prices. Dean is currently responsible for buying designer bedding, blankets, throws and decorative pillows for over 800 Tuesday Morning stores nationwide.  "Our customers are driven to find great merchandise at great prices, and I enjoy the challenge of finding that perfect treasure for them," says Dean.

While a student at UNT, Dean was active in student organizations and participated in several industry-focused study tours.  "Students should take advantage of the amazing opportunities offered through the UNT merchandising program.  These are great ways to network and build lifelong friendships that will become valuable business contacts throughout one's career," says Dean.

The UNT merchandising program is strengthened through the support of Tuesday Morning President and CEO, Kathleen Mason, who currently serves on the Merchandising Board of Governors and the UNT Chief Executives Roundtable (CERT).
