SMHM Ambassadors Reach out to Area High Schools
May 06, 2009

The School of Merchandising & Hospitality Management ambassadors serve an important role in the recruitment and outreach activities of our School. By visiting area high schools, giving campus tours, and making presentations to prospective students, these busy students are promoting UNT spirit and building important leadership skills.  As SMHM scholarship recipients, the ambassadors provide an excellent example of giving back to the university through their service activities.  In addition to assisting with annual events such as Preview Day, Nor-Tex Fair, Shack-a-Thon, and Relay for Life, the ambassadors hosted over 100 prospective students from area high schools including Azle, Berkner, Carrollton, Garland, Lake Highlands, Northwest and Pilot Point.
