Fossil Executives Present Building a Global Brand at Executive-in-Residence Lecture Series
December 15, 2008

The 23rd annual Executive-in-Residence Lecture featured Fossil executives on November 17, 2008. Steve Woodward, senior vice president for product development, Dean Carter, vice president for human resources, and Tim Hale, senior vice president and image director, inspired over 500 students with their dynamic presentation, Building a Global Brand. Woodward, former senior executive for Illuminations, The Bombay Company, and Pier One, currently serves on the School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management Board of Governors and is active in its development and fundraising activities.

The lecture was preceded by a Fossil fashion show, produced by the student organization, Merchandising Inc.  Thirty-three models showcased looks ranging from everyday casual to holiday dress. Both men's and women's fashions were presented, along with accessories including handbags and sunglasses. To close the show, Woodward, Carter, and Hale strutted down the runway sporting fashion- forward Fossil apparel.
