Hospitality Management Graduate, Erica Wendell, Hones Culinary Skills in Positano, Italy

"Stop thinking about studying abroad, JUST DO IT!" advises hospitality management graduate, Erica Wendell (B.S. 2008).  Erica completed her internship as a cook at the Ristorante Il Ritrovo in Positano, Italy during the Spring 2008 semester.  During her internship, Erica was immersed in learning how to use special oils, spices, and other ingredients to prepare century old Italian recipes. Beyond developing her culinary skills, Erica experienced the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of Italy during her stay.  She states, "Studying abroad was an experience that forever changed my life, and I will use these accumulated experiences to build my professional career."
