You will have an opportunity to “learn by doing” by working at The Club at Gateway Center, our state-of-the-art, public student-operated restaurant. You will also gain insight into the industry through field trips, attending special industry guest lectures, and meeting high-level executives at our Executive-in-Residence Lecture Series.
In addition, we host an annual Career Expo specifically for Hospitality and Tourism Management students that will help you meet hiring representatives from well-known hospitality companies. We regularly have over 50 companies who attend our Career Expo, with a majority coming from corporate hospitality headquarters.
Our faculty members are highly-qualified professionals who have both academic and industry experience. In addition, they are recognized experts, conducting research on issues ranging from sustainable tourism to hotel and restaurant management to technology in the hospitality industry.
